Google+ Bar Now Floats On Your Screen Most people are familiar with the black Google+ bar that appears at the top of the browser window. Starting today, this black bar and the grey navigation bar underneath it now float on your screen.

When you are scrolling down a page, the bar is easily accessible as it’s always at the top of your page. You don’t have to scroll up to check your notifications and then scroll down to read a paragraph. The bar will always follow you.

The size of the bar also adjusts to your browser window. On a desktop or laptop, the bar floats at its full size. On a small laptop, the bar shrinks down in size and on a mobile phone, it disappears completely. A floating bar is a minor improvement, but it’s the small things that count.
